The pharmacy problem
The difficulty is rarely effort — it is fragmented information. Stock, batches, expiry, purchases and dues often live in different places, so answering a simple question takes work.
The PharmacoBD solution
Each medicine moves through the same operational chain. PharmacoBD keeps those stages connected instead of separated across tools.
Maintain the medicine catalogue and product information.
Create purchase orders for suppliers.
Record what actually arrives.
Track inventory by medicine batch where applicable.
Know available inventory.
POS sales update inventory through the operational workflow.
Handle supported return workflows correctly.
Use stock information to understand what requires replenishment.
Medicine catalogue
Brand name, generic, strength, dosage form and manufacturer stay in one structured catalogue, so staff can locate a product without guessing. Generic-based catalogue organization can help pharmacy staff locate related products.
| Brand name | Generic | Strength | Form | Manufacturer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Napa Extra | Paracetamol + Caffeine | 500 mg + 65 mg | Tablet | Fictional Manufacturer |
| Seclo | Fictional Generic A | 20 mg | Capsule | Fictional Pharma Ltd. |
| Monas | Fictional Generic B | 10 mg | Tablet | Fictional Labs |
| Napa Syrup | Fictional Generic C | 120 mg / 5 ml | Syrup | Fictional Manufacturer |
These entries are fictional operational examples. PharmacoBD is about pharmacy operations — it does not provide medical guidance, prescribing advice or clinical substitution decisions.
Inventory
PharmacoBD is designed to turn medicine inventory into an operational system rather than a simple quantity field: quantity, batch, expiry, status and shelf location where supported.
| Medicine | Available | Batch | Expiry | Shelf | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Napa Extra 500 mg | 38 | NX24031 | Mar 2027 | Shelf A2 | In stock |
| Seclo 20 mg | 8 | SC22119 | Aug 2027 | Shelf B1 | Low stock |
| Monas 10 mg | 24 | MN2208 | 45 days | Shelf B4 | Expiry attention |
| Fictional Drop 5 ml | 3 | FD21007 | Expired | Quarantine | Expired |
Batch management
Batch-aware inventory helps the pharmacy understand which quantity belongs to which batch and expiry context — instead of one total number that hides the difference.

The same medicine can sit on the shelf with different expiry dates. A single quantity field cannot express that.
Receiving, stock and sales are recorded against the batch, so quantities remain explainable.
Batch tracking exists to help daily pharmacy decisions. PharmacoBD makes no regulatory compliance claims.
Expiry control
Pharmacy inventory is not only about quantity. A medicine can be physically present but commercially unusable after expiry, so PharmacoBD makes expiry information visible inside the inventory workflow.

Expiry visibility supports better decisions. PharmacoBD does not promise zero expiry loss.
Low-stock visibility
Low-stock visibility helps pharmacy owners decide what needs replenishment, instead of discovering a gap when a customer asks for the medicine.

PharmacoBD is designed to support more automated replenishment workflows in future or configured integrations. Automatic supplier ordering is not presented as a universal live feature today.
POS sales
A sale should be part of inventory movement, not an unrelated billing event. When a medicine leaves the counter, the pharmacy's available stock reflects it through the operational workflow.
What happens on a sale
The sale creates a record, produces an invoice, and moves inventory in the same connected workflow.
Counter-friendly
Designed for the pace of an owner-operated medicine shop: search the catalogue, add items, apply a discount, complete the sale. All prices shown here are illustrative and no payment-gateway claims are made.
Sales invoice
Invoice number, date, items, quantities, discount, total and payment state where supported — so a completed sale can always be explained later.
Invoice no.

This website only shows fictional operational examples. No real customer information is used anywhere.
The invoice is a pharmacy operational record. PharmacoBD makes no tax or fiscal certification claims.
Each invoice line connects to the medicine and batch that left the shelf.
Returns
When a customer returns an item from a completed sale, the return is recorded and the inventory movement follows it — so stock does not silently drift.
This section covers supported sales-return behavior only. Returns are handled as real inventory movement rather than a note in a register.
Supplier management
Supplier relationships connect purchasing, receiving and payable records, so a pharmacy owner can see the whole relationship in one place.
All suppliers shown are fictional. PharmacoBD claims no supplier integrations or relationships with real pharmaceutical companies.
Purchase orders
Real pharmacy deliveries do not always arrive exactly as ordered. PharmacoBD treats a purchase order as a living document — ordered, received and remaining quantities stay visible.
PO-260819-041
Illustrative dataPurchase orders record the pharmacy's intent before any medicine arrives.
Recording 60 of 100 units keeps stock honest and keeps the remaining 40 visible.
Remaining quantities remain part of the purchasing picture instead of being forgotten.
Goods Receipt · GRN
Goods receiving is the moment a purchase becomes stock. You record the quantities that arrived, the batch details that came with them, and inventory follows.
Confirm the medicine, the quantity that arrived and the batch with its expiry.
A goods receipt is simply the record of what the pharmacy accepted from the supplier.
Accepted quantities become available inventory in their batch context.
Supplier payables
Medicine can be received while money is still payable to the supplier. PharmacoBD gives visibility into what remains payable — this is supplier payable visibility, not full accounting software.
Stock can be on the shelf while the supplier is still owed money.
Payable visibility sits next to purchasing and receiving records.
The language stays practical for owner-operated pharmacies. All amounts shown are illustrative.
Pharmacy owner dashboard
One screen for the questions an owner asks every morning: what is running low, what is nearing expiry, what was sold, what is on order, what is due to arrive and what is payable.

Prescription fulfillment requests
1 request (when connected)
Prescription fulfillment
Where approved integrations are connected, pharmacies can participate in digital prescription-fulfillment workflows — the pharmacy still checks its own stock and decides what it can fulfil.
Prescription workflows apply only where a supported integration is enabled for the pharmacy.
A request is checked against real pharmacy inventory. Medicine availability is never guaranteed.
No prescription is automatically routed to any pharmacy, and no pharmacy is required to participate.
Standalone product
PharmacoBD works on its own for your pharmacy's daily operations. SebaOne connectivity is optional, not a requirement.
Run everything above with PharmacoBD alone. If your pharmacy later joins a supported connected workflow, that is an addition — never a dependency.
Why PharmacoBD is different
The sale is only one moment in the life of pharmacy inventory. Everything before and after the sale decides what the pharmacy can sell tomorrow.

Extraordinary capabilities
Not a longer feature list — a set of capabilities shaped by how medicine actually moves through a pharmacy.
Understand quantities in their batch context.
Surface medicines requiring expiry attention.
Know which products may need replenishment.
Sales and inventory movement belong to the same operational workflow.
Plan supplier purchases before delivery.
Record the quantities actually received instead of pretending every purchase arrives in full.
Maintain visibility into supplier amounts still payable.
Participate in supported connected prescription workflows where integrated.
PharmacoBD is designed so future or configured supplier and sales-representative workflows can reduce repeated manual replenishment work. This is a direction, not a current universal feature: automatic ordering is not active today, and no pharmaceutical representatives are connected by default.
Ecosystem
PharmacoBD is the pharmacy operating system. It can connect to other systems through approved integration workflows only — these remain independent systems with no shared database.
Bangladesh-first
The product decisions follow how medicine stores here actually buy, store and sell medicine.
Designed for shops run directly by the owner, not large staff hierarchies.
Amounts, purchasing and payables follow taka-based pharmacy practice.
Built around distributor and supplier purchasing patterns.
Medicine expiry is treated as a first-class operational concern.
Batch, quantity, shelf and status — nothing ceremonial.
Short workflows that fit a busy counter.
PharmacoBD makes no claim of national coverage and holds no government or regulatory approval or certification.
Security
Access to pharmacy operational records is limited to authorized accounts within the pharmacy's own organization boundary.
No certification claims are made. PharmacoBD does not claim HIPAA, ISO, DGDA or any government approval.
Plans
Commercial plans will be published once finalized. No prices, trials or free plans are advertised before then.
Pricing not yet published
PharmacoBD is a pharmacy operating system for owner-operated medicine stores. Plan structure and pricing are being finalized for the Bangladesh market.
